Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA)
Welcome to the CAPA Faculty!
In creative arts, students can explore a variety of art forms through a study of Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts. These are also available as Life Skills courses for the HSC.
In addition, Ceramics, Visual Design and Photography, Video and Digital Imaging are also offered.
Studying the creative arts, students learn to appreciate, compose, listen, analyse, create and perform. Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts with a capacity to inspire and enrich lives as well as provide critical skills in collaboration, self-evaluation, critique and resilience.
Students can select a one year course to complete in Year 10 for their ROSA or continue in their two year course from Year 9.
Senior students can select from the full range of courses to begin in Year 11 through to their HSC.
