The Imagineers Program is an innovative initiative dedicated to nurturing high potential and gifted students within the creative domain. Through collaboration between Empire Bay Public School, Ettalong Public School, Umina Beach Public School, Woy Woy Public School, Woy Woy South Public School, and Brisbane Water Secondary College, we foster exceptional originality, inventiveness, and talent.

Our program celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding abilities in areas such as Dance, Performance, Design, Drama, Coding, Innovation, and Visual Arts. By providing specialised and targeted experiences, Imagineers supports students to extend their creative capabilities beyond traditional academic pathways.

Our Mission

To inspire and nurture the unique creative gifts of young learners, empowering them to think critically, innovate, and express their artistic talents through rich, supportive, and immersive learning experiences.

At Futures Academy, our approach includes:

Multidisciplinary Workshops – Expert teachers lead specialised sessions, encouraging students to explore diverse creative disciplines and develop higher-order thinking skills.
Creative Problem Solving – Students engage in design thinking and innovation activities to stimulate originality and inventive thinking.
Social-Emotional Support – Recognising the unique challenges gifted students sometimes face, the program fosters resilience, self-awareness, and peer connection in a safe and encouraging environment.
Showcase Opportunities – Students have the chance to present and perform their creative work, celebrating their achievements with family, peers, and school communities.

It encourages deep analysis, synthesis, and evaluation skills that are necessary for developing unique artistic voices and solving complex problems.
