BWLC Events

Events across the Brisbane Water Learning Community bring learning to life and help shape the shared culture of our network of schools. They provide students with opportunities to build confidence, connect with peers from different campuses, and celebrate their progress together. BWLC events also give families and community members the chance to be involved in educational life and share in student achievements, no matter which school their child attends.

Our school event may include:

orientation days for students transitioning between schools
sports carnivals and inter-school competitions
open days and community school tours
cultural celebrations such as Koorana Cup
excursions and incursions that extend learning beyond the classroom
performances, concerts, and school productions
award ceremonies and assemblies recognising student achievement

Koorana Junior AECG Meeting

The Koorana Junior AECG provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with a culturally safe and supportive forum to strengthen their identity, develop leadership skills and actively contribute to Aboriginal education.
